Bronx River Forest receives $20K grant from TD Bank’s Green Streets program

THE BRONX - The Bronx River Forest has received a $20,000 grant from TD Bank’s Green Streets program.

The bank chose 10 cities on the East Coast to help them improve their urban parks.

The Bronx River Alliance told News 12 that it is going to use the funds to plant 600 trees over the next year. The group says it plans on getting the community involved in the planting process.
