Bronx runner takes 1st place in Rock 'n' Roll 10K

THE BRONX - A Bronx runner took first place in this weekend's Rock 'n' Roll 10K in Brooklyn.

Ketema Nigusse won the men's race with a time of 29 minutes and two seconds.

Nigusse, who was born in Ethiopia, pulled away from the pack after the four-mile mark to win the $1,000 prize.
