THE BRONX - About 24 seniors centers in the Bronx could shut their doors if funding is cut.

The Council of Senior Centers and Services released a list of locations that would close if the state cuts funding. The organization says the centers could be closed within a month.

Residents held a rally against the cuts on the steps of the Bronx Borough Hall this morning. Many say if centers are cut, they will have nowhere to turn for basic help.
