THE BRONX - A Bronx man says he is donating some of his time to help borough adolescents cope with the stresses that come with being a teenager.

Before becoming a volunteer in 2012, Courtney Wilson was already a student, a teacher and a tutor.

Hey says that he realized he wanted to help young people while he was in college.

He is the first member of his family to continue education beyond high school, and says the transition to college was tough.

Some of his students face additional hardships, like Christina Juan, whose mother died during her senior year.

Wilson will receive a master's degree in social work next week, but rather than focusing on the job hunt, he says he is looking for new places to volunteer.
