Bronx soldier awarded high military honor

THE BRONX - A soldier from the Bronx has been awarded one of the military's highest honors for his heroic actions overseas. 

Senior Airman Goodie Goodman was presented with the Silver Star Medal on Wednesday. 

He was awarded the medal for saving his fellow soldiers during an attack in Afghanistan last year. 

Two other soldiers also received the Silver Star Medal during the ceremony.
