Bronx street plays a starring role in a movie

Gun Hill Road in the Bronx has recently finished playing a starring role in a movie, written and directed by New York Graduate Film School

THE BRONX - Gun Hill Road in the Bronx has recently finished playing a starring role in a movie, written and directed by New York Graduate Film School student and Bronx native Rashaad Ernesto Green.

The movie, appropriately named "Gun Hill Road: The Movie," is about a man, played by Esai Morales, who gets out of jail to find that his son is exploring his sexuality and his wife is estranged.

Green says his history in the Bronx inspired him to use the borough as his setting.
