THE BRONX - City public schools are back in session and for some Bronx students, it's a new year in a new facility.

Excited kids, parents and teachers greeted each other this morning outside of the New Settlement Community Campus in Mount Eden. The state-of-the-art building will house students from pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg and schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott were among the crowd as the doors opened up. They received a tour of the school and met with students.
