Bronx teacher Anthony Criscuolo pleads guilty to raping 10-year-old student

Criscuolo will also have to give up his teaching license and register as a sex offender. (6/13/14)

THE BRONX - A Bronx teacher accused of raping a girl in his fifth-grade class has pleaded guilty to the crime.

Anthony Criscuolo was accused of sexually assaulting the 10-year-old child in his car on June 17, 2013.

Because of his plea deal, the former P.S. 386 teacher will serve 14 years in prison followed by 18 years of post-release supervision.

Criscuolo will also have to give up his teaching license and register as a sex offender.

Criscuolo will be formally sentenced on July 7.
