THE BRONX - An 18-year-old Bronx resident died after drowning in a lake in Putnam County on Monday.

According to the Journal News, police in the town of Kent searched for the swimmer for 20 minutes before calling in a dive team.

The teen was eventually found and taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

His identity has not yet been released.
