Bronx teen drowns off Queens beach

Police say a 19-year-old from the Bronx drowned Saturday in Queens.Authorities say Daniel O'Neil was pulled out of the ocean by lifeguards near the beach

THE BRONX - Police say a 19-year-old from the Bronx drowned Saturday in Queens.

Authorities say Daniel O'Neil was pulled out of the ocean by lifeguards near the beach on 25th Street in the Rockaways. Police say lifeguards attempted to revive him on the beach.

O'Neil was pronounced dead soon after being taken to a nearby hospital.
