Bronx to conduct demos for new voting machines

The Board of Elections is conducting demonstrations for voters to get hands-on experience with a new method of voting.Beginning in the fall, voters will mark

THE BRONX - The Board of Elections is conducting demonstrations for voters to get hands-on experience with a new method of voting.

Beginning in the fall, voters will mark their choice on a paper ballot using either a pen or ballot marking device. The marked ballots will be entered into a scanner.

The board is encouraging all residents to attend a demonstration.
