Bronx toddler critically injured in 5-story fall

WILLIAMSBRIDGE - A 2-year-old is in critical condition after officials say she fell five stories from an apartment in Williamsbridge.

According to police, the fall occurred at around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Cruger Avenue and South Oak Drive from an open window that didn't have a guard on it. The toddler was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center for head trauma.

Authorities say no arrests have been made at this time.
