Bronx toll collector accused of stealing tolls

THE BRONX - A Bronx toll collector is accused of stealing more than $16,000 from the Tri-Borough Bridge and Tunnel Authority.

Authorities say 19-year-old Travis Coley stole money on 30 different occasions while working at the cash-only lane on the Throgs Neck Bridge. Investigators say Coley would charge drivers the correct amount, manually input a lower amount into the toll payments and pocket the difference.

Coley faces up to seven years in prison, if convicted.
