THE BRONX - Some Bronx veterans are sharing their opinions on the escalating crisis in Iraq. 

Those who have served time in the country call what's happening in the Middle East a sad and unfortunate situation. 

Some also say they support sending U.S. troops back to the region as advisers. 

Overall, local vets are hoping the turmoil doesn't get any worse because they don't want to see combat troops deployed again.
