THE BRONX - Crowds of people braved the wet weather today to celebrate the best the Bronx has to offer at the 42nd annual Bronx Parade and Festival.

The festival featured local food, musical performances and a parade down the Mosholu Parkway.

The Bronx Parade and Festival was the last event of Bronx Week, which showcased the boroughs best aspects over the past 11 days.

At the end of the parade, three notable Bronx residents, Robert Abrams, Miguel Angel Amadeo and Ellen Barkin, were inducted into the Walk of Fame.

News 12 was a media sponsor of Bronx Week.
