THE BRONX - Police say a Bronx woman was struck and killed at a Manhattan intersection Saturday night.

NYPD officers responding to the scene at West 173rd Street and Broadway found 50-year-old Linda Hewson unconscious. Hewson was transported to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Authorities arrested 20-year-old Ellen Ulerio, who has been charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving while intoxicated.
