Bronx woman makes a difference in the Caribbean community

BAYCHESTER - As News 12 The Bronx celebrates Women's History Month, one Bronx woman is making a difference in the Caribbean community.

Avril Francis reaches hundreds with "The Avril Show," a talk radio show that keeps listeners informed about Caribbean issues.

The Saint-Kitts native also does her show on BronxNet TV and serves on the AmeriCarribean Chamber of Commerce.

Francis' following represents several Caribbean islands, but her efforts keep them connected to their homes in the Bronx and abroad.
