THE BRONX - Police say a Bronx woman is clinging to life after she was struck by a hit-and-run driver last night.

According to authorities, 63-year-old Marlene Garcia was hit at East Tremont and Schley avenues outside of the Latin Kitchen restaurant at around 10:30 p.m.

Garcia's family says she was hit by a car in the same spot back in June, but wasn't injured that time.

Garcia's daughter says a witness followed the suspected driver and got a license plate number.  Police say they are now looking for the car.
