THE BRONX - The Bronx YMCA hosted its 10th annual fundraiser on Thursday to raise money for programming.

About 100 guests attended the event on Castle Hill Avenue.

The event featured music, an auction and food donated from restaurants from all over the borough. The money raised during the evening will go directly to the YMCA for things like financial aid scholarships.

Organizers say about 12,000 Bronx children benefit from their services, and the event is a fun way to ensure they will keep the services.

They say that last year's event raised $28,000.  Organizers are hoping to raise over $35,000 this year.
