THE BRONX - It's a winter wonderland at the Bronx Zoo, with a twist.

It's the fifth year of the zoo's Wildlife Ice Carving Week, where professional sculptors build a habitat completely out of ice.

Sculptor Rich Daily, who holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest ice carver, says it's an opportunity to show off a bit. He says, "This is the only time that we really get to showcase and communicate with the community what we really do."

There will be an ice carving competition on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., where 10 sculptors will compete to create the best arctic animal.
