THE BRONX - The pedestrian who was struck and killed on the Bruckner Expressway early Wednesday morning has been identified.

According to cops, 36-year-old Paul Lynch was hit near White Plains Road at around 5:30 a.m. and was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center where he died.

The vehicle involved in the accident remained at the scene and no criminality is suspected.

Officials say Lynch is the brother of firefighter Michael Lynch, who lost his life on Sept. 11. News 12 The Bronx spoke with family last September on the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks.
