THE BRONX - A Bronx business is still trying to reopen nearly one year after closing due to damage from Superstorm Sandy.

The Bruckner Bar and Grill has spent more than $125,000 this year on its reopening. It has an entirely new basement of refrigerators and freezers, along with a new kitchen and bars.

The Health Department will inspect the restaurant soon to ensure everything is in order. The owners are now planning to open sometime in October, before the one-year anniversary of the storm.
