Burnside Avenue store owners plan BID

THE BRONX - Business owners along Burnside Avenue in the Bronx plan to establish a business improvement district that has been five years in the making.With the help of the Davidson Community Center, several business owners plan to create a BID in order to improve their stores. They would pay a small tax for services, which include graffiti removal, security and advertisement.Their next meeting is in January. Business owners say the business improvement district will be established by this time next year and will be named Burnside BID.
