Bus cut hurts Bronx businesses

THE BRONX - (AP) - The Bx14 bus line cut is hurting businesses along the line and causing a headache for commuters.

Businesses in the Parkchester area say they have seen revenues decrease only a day after the bus line was eliminated. One business owner says revenue has decreased by 50 percent.

Residents previously protested the cuts saying they would not be able to commute to the area. Business owners say they many not be able to continue to stay in the neighborhood as a result of the cut.
