Bus riders cause hundreds of littering fines for Soundview man

THE BRONX - A Soundview resident says he's paid hundreds in fines because bus riders keep throwing litter on his property.

Homeowner Michael Hall says he's paid $500 in fines from sanitation because people waiting at the Bx27 bus line leave litter on his property. Hall says he puts garbage bags out on his own to prevent tickets but believes it isn't his responsibility to clean up after residents.

Hall says he wants the Department of Sanitation to put a trash bin at the bus stop.
