WAKEFIELD - A massive Wakefield fire is having a lasting effect on untouched surrounding businesses.

Several shops along White Plains Road were forced to close for two days after the fire broke out Thursday. Parking continues to be restricted, and some streets remain closed around the fire site.

Store owners say business has been slow since the fire.
