THE BRONX - Local shop owners say that more and more businesses are moving into converted loft space along Bruckner Boulevard near the 3rd Avenue Bridge, but close by crime is a day-to-day problem.
 
Newly opened businesses down Lincoln Avenue are thriving due to the recent influx of trendy artists and specialty stores.
 
Store owners only two blocks away, however, are experiencing crime, and some are worried about their safety despite the constant police patrols.
