BX businesses: Sandy has affected wallets this year (12/19/12)

BELMONT - Some Bronx businesses say that the Sandy has not only hit the borough hard, but residents' wallets as well.

Before Sandy, one flower shop owner said she'd bring in $300-$400 a day. Now, she and her co-workers are making $150 or less.

At Gino's Pastry Shop, Jerome Raguso said because of the storm, he's making about 30 percent less this year. Many of his big clients have even canceled large orders.
