THE BRONX - Dozens of parishioners from nine Bronx churches took to the streets in the dark of night to illuminate issues affecting their communities.

The congregants walked through Kingsbridge last night, stopping to pray in front of buildings that they felt need saving, including the Kingsbridge Armory.

Participants say they prayed for the redevelopment of the armory in a way that benefits the neighborhood.

Other stops on the prayer walk included Wantagh High School where the group asked for improvements to city schools and several buildings with poor living conditions.
