THE BRONX - Some dedicated churchgoers in Throgs Neck were determined to have church services this weekend, despite Sandy's lasting damage to their regular house of worship. The members of Crossway Church normally hold services at P.S. 101 on Lafayette Avenue. However, the school took a hit when Sandy made landfall, and they held this weekend's services at Patricia's Restaurant on East Tremont Avenue. Members tell News 12 The Bronx that they are hoping to return to the school for next Sunday's services.
