BX cop arrested for allegedly faking stabbing

THE BRONX - Investigators say that a Bronx NYPD officer has been arrested for allegedly lying about a stabbing and robbery in his Queens home.

Police say that officer Rishi Gobin claimed he was stabbed after two men broke into his home and tried to rob him.

Officials say that Gobin is charged with falsely reporting an incident and falsifying business records.
