A Bronx father accused of kidnapping his two children has been arraigned.

THE BRONX - A Bronx father accused of kidnapping his two children has been arraigned.

According to police, 29-year-old Fitz Edwards shot at his girlfriend, lit a fire in her apartment and then took off with their 2-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son, sparking an Amber Alert Sunday.

Investigators say the kids were found safe inside an abandoned stolen car a short time later.

Edwards faces 13 charges, including grand larceny, criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.
