THE BRONX - Bronx commissioner for the NYC Board of Elections, J.C. Polanco, speaking to News 12 The Bronx, says that long lines at polling locations were inevitable.

Polanco says that while polling locations were prepared, the executive order issued by Gov. Andrew Cuomo allowing displaced voters to vote by affidavit ballot at any polling locations caused the longer lines.

He says that the borough experienced record turnout again.
