BX judge OKs pants worn below the waist

THE BRONX - A Bronx judge has ruled today that wearing pants below the waist in public is not a crime.

The decision comes after the judge threw out a summons issued to a Bronx man for wearing his pants low and exposing his underwear. The judge said people can dress as they want as long as they do not offend public order.

The look has sparked controversy as of late, and a campaign was even created by a Brooklyn state senator who opposed the fashion statement.

Notable figures, including President Obama and Bill Cosby, have also voiced opposition to the look.
