BX Laundromat assault victim details attack

WAKEFIELD - The employee attacked Sunday night at a Wakefield Laundromat is urging police to find the suspects responsible. Lou George was assaulted at Clean Laundryland on White Plains Road and East 227th Street. Based on surveillance footage, authorities say one man punched the victim while two women hit him with a stick. A fourth person then swiped cash from the register. The business' owner, Mr. Kim, says the suspects escaped with about $600. He says he will fortify the counter and register area to prevent future heists. Cops are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
