THE BRONX - A Bronx man accused of forcing a teenager into prostitution appeared in court today for the first time since his arraignment Sunday. According to police, 29-year-old Pedro Diaz originally met the 14-year-old girl on Facebook. They say he forced the victim to have sex for money while holding her captive in a Fox Avenue apartment. Investigators say Diaz also raped the teen multiple times and threatened to kill her if she talked to the authorities. Diaz faces 18 criminal charges and is due back in court on May 23.
