THE BRONX - A Bronx man who is facing first-degree murder charges appeared in court today.
Leo Huggins is accused of stabbing 56-year-old Gregory Evans in the throat and lighting his apartment on fire.
The incident occurred inside Evans' apartment at 2247 Webster Ave.
Prosecutors say Huggins told 46th Precinct detectives that an argument over a missing ATM card led to the stabbing. Huggins also allegedly told detectives that after the victim crawled into his bedroom, Huggins lit the bed on fire.
Huggins was remanded until his next court appearance, scheduled for Jan. 18.
