BX marks 100th anniversary of Mother Teresa's birth

THE BRONX - Bronx residents are honoring what would have been the 100th birthday of Mother Teresa.

Several churches in the Bronx will continue her legacy of charity by taking donations throughout the day. The Hutchinson Metro Center complex will be lit in blue and white- the colors of her traditional dress ? for her birthday.

Lydig Avenue was renamed Mother Teresa Way in her honor last year.
