THE BRONX - A public park in Morrisania has been renamed to honor Estella Diggs, an iconic figure known around the borough for helping others. Diggs has lived in The Bronx for 95 years. She's made a mark on many through her charity work and years of public service. She was the first black woman from The Bronx to be elected to the state Assembly. Now, she becomes the first living woman to have a city park named for her.
