MORRISANIA - The Department of Education says it has pulled the principal and assistant principal from Eximius College Preparatory Academy for allegedly giving students credit for classes they never took.

The Department of Education says following an internal investigation, it is seeking to fire Principal Tammy Smith and Assistant Principal Constantino Trillana for tampering with transcripts to boost the school's graduation rates.

Students say they can't believe that something like this could happen at their school.
