THROGS NECK - As the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks draws near, a Throgs Neck family is remembering their son.

"It's a pain that never goes away. It's with you constantly. Like I told somebody one time, back when Michael died, a hole came in my heart and it never filled," says Jack Lynch, whose firefighter son Michael Lynch was killed on 9/11.

Authorities say Michael Lynch's remains were found six months after the attack intermingled with a woman they think he was trying to save.
