THE BRONX - To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Bronx residents are being invited to write on a ribbon as part of the Ribbons of Hope project.

As part of the community-created art project, people are asked to write a tribute, prayer, or wish to inspire other New Yorkers. Ribbons of Hope are being accepted at 1363 Ogden Ave. until Sept. 8, and are also being collected online. The ribbons will then be taken to Battery Park and put on display, creating an artistic collection.

News 12 The Bronx will air a tribute special on Friday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. and will air the 10th anniversary commemoration ceremony live on Sept. 11 beginning at 8:30 a.m.
