THE BRONX - Residents in The Bronx celebrated Christmas this morning in church.

Many Catholic residents in the borough attended Christmas Day Mass at Holy Cross to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.

Father Peter Pomposello, who has celebrated five Christmas services with Holy Cross, says that the number of attendees at Mass was inspiring.

"It's about our faith," he said, "which is the greatest gift that any parent can give their child."

Holy Cross Catholic Church has held Christmas Mass for 90 years.
