THE BRONX - More than 8,000 people in The Bronx remain in the dark today, including a building of elderly Bronx residents in Woodlawn. The apartment building in Woodlawn is in desperation mode as they entered the seventh day without power. Residents there tell News 12 The Bronx that they are freezing without heat in the building. Some residents are not capable of leaving the building as they are in wheelchairs and there are no working elevators. Con Ed says that power should be restored to all Bronx residents by this Sunday.
