BX residents show Columbus Day pride

THE BRONX - Many residents in The Bronx are showing their Columbus Day pride today.

On Morris Park Avenue, some say they still associate the holiday with its traditional Italian-American roots. However, others say it's all about cashing in on big sales.

Thousands also celebrated in Morris Park yesterday for the 35th annual Bronx Columbus Day Parade.
