THE BRONX - Bronx residents were out and about under sunny skies Monday afternoon with temperatures reaching about 80 degrees.

News 12 was at P.O. Serrano Park, where kids lined up for ice cream and exerted energy on the monkey bars.

Forecasters expect temperatures to warm up on Tuesday to the mid-80s.

Rising temperatures are expected to stick around over the coming week.
