THE BRONX - Pedestrians and drivers throughout the Bronx are still struggling to get around four days after the blizzard.

Public workers are busy today cleaning the slush from crosswalks, subway steps and train platforms, but some sidewalks, like those along Gunhill Road, are still dangerously slick.

Transportation delays are also carrying over from the storm, preventing residents from getting to work on time. "It's slow motion," one resident said. "Instead of waiting five minutes, you may be waiting 15 or 20 minutes."

Residents also say parking is hard enough as it is, and they don't need mounds of snow and unplowed streets taking up would-be parking spots.
