Several Bronx students will be the center of attention on New Year?s Eve as they help Mayor Michael Bloomberg drop the ball in Times Square.Only

THE BRONX - Several Bronx students will be the center of attention on New Year?s Eve as they help Mayor Michael Bloomberg drop the ball in Times Square.

Only 12 students from 100 high schools throughout the city were chosen for the honor.

The students were selected based on their academic achievements and extracurricular activities.
