THE BRONX - Students at a South Bronx middle school are hoping their dance moves bring awareness to their dying arts curriculum. Fifth-grade students at P.S.-M.S. 31 are learning various dance forms to prove the importance of maintaining an in-school dance program. Officials cut the school budget by 7 percent, and teachers say they lost the dance class after eight years due to a lack of funding.
