BX teen stabbed with scissors outside Lewis and Clark H.S.

WESTCHESTER VILLAGE - A Bronx teenager is fighting for his life tonight after he was stabbed outside his Westchester Village high school earlier today.

Police say Negron Rivera, 16, was involved in an altercation with several men moments before he entered Lewis and Clark High School. Someone then stabbed him in the neck with a pair of scissors and he collapsed on Tratman Avenue in a pool of his own blood, according to police.

Neighbors and students say the school is known for its constant violence and out-of-control students.

Anyone with information on the stabbing is asked to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
